Auto responder seems to not support some languages, and I lost the hope that someone at globat will fix that problem. While writing this, my site is down. No e-mail, nothing. No one inform me about any maintenance, so I guess that they have problem.
My site is Perl & MySQL driven site, and I am not very happy with the speed. Without ANY graphic on the site, and using static pages I expect that my site will fly. But the only thing that fly are my $$, since I am looking for more serious company. | | Open review in new window |

The php-processing is slow. Veeeery slow. My site is in the evening (20:00 hours Amsterdam-time) often unreachable. Support doesn´t help. All they constantly say is 'The site is looking fine from here'. Well, thats a big help!

when using server side scripts.
Even though the respone of your helpdesk people is quick and very polite
The trouble remains: very very slow server or even timing out pictures (red
crosses)
I use a php album to display my pictures. I have tried several different php
albums to rule out crappy php code
I truly find it totally unacceptable for a webhost to deliver this kind of
performance. Even with the great price/storage ratio. This speed is just not
something modern internet users are willing to take.
So if you would please contact the sysadmins and tackle this problem,
because i think it would be so much better. I truly like the fast response
from globat (even it sometimes is just a generic answer).
I'm not mad, but i think it is a pity, it could be so much better. I really
hope to see some improved otherwise i'm forced to leave for another host
like lunarpages or ipowerweb
Not as much room as globat, but... Do you need all that space when nobody
actually wants to visit your site because it is hairpulling slow?

The support staff, especially Allan, is very responsive. Unfortunately, this company cannot handle the business they have. I would recommend going to ANY OTHER web hosting company.
