Is a long story, but iPowerWeb tech support repeatedly blew off my questions, instead giving bizarre, unhelpful answers. Ex: after 2 weeks without proper DNS pointing (I have reason to believe the acct was not set up correctly on their server) I wrote in for the 4th time. Tech reply says 'be patient, it may take 24/48 hours to propagate.' A couple other times, they referred me to an FAQ item that was not related at all to this issue. Seems like every time I'd write back, I'd begin with 'Thanks for the answer, but that's not what I was asking.' It's as though they weren't even reading my questions. Too busy? Growing pains, maybe? Ended up going with another host and cancelling this account. Very, very poor service. Maybe the worst customer service episode of my life. |
